Your Guide to Frugal Retirement

How to retire early...ask yourself some questions

How to retire early means asking yourself certain types of questions:
  • Is your credit card paid off every month or a vehicle to buy something you don't have the money for now?
  • Does Goodwill mean something to you, other than part of a Christmas carol?
  • Do you pay yourself first (save money) every month?
  • Do you know how much you spend to maintain appearances or keep up with the neighbors?
  • Do you know how much you spend on the basics (essential healthy groceries should be your biggest basic)?
  • Do you realize that other than spending on the basics your spending is keeping you from retiring early?
  • Do you realize that you actually use a very small percentage of your home on a daily basis?
  • Do you realize that your health should always be of paramount importance?
If you can honestly say you that you understand the importance of asking yourselves questions like these you are a great candidate to retire early.

If these questions seem drastic in themselves you may not be a candidate to retire early. Is this more you?

We are spending less than a $1,000 a month...you can too.
