Great Retirement advice

I have been investigating retirement options as I will be retiring in the next 10-12 years.

I know early planning. I grew up on a farm and was considering cheap land in South America but lately have been drawn to sailboat living as in is in my blood.

My grandfather was merchant marine and long shore man and my father was a sea captain and I am distantly related to the infamous Captain Kidd.

After spending several years in the Caribbean cruising to many islands I discovered I enjoy sailing to the Islands more than the Islands themselves.

My retirement income will be around 2,000 a month.

Although I would prefer not to dock during hurricane season but rather sail to safer seas.
