Getting ready to do the same!

Thanks for sharing your experiences! This site makes me feel even more sure that my husband and I can do this.

We have been motor boaters for several years but are now ready to take on sailing and live on the boat.

We just finished several sailing certification courses in Charleston, SC and looking for our boat.

Our goal is to be in the Caribbean a year from now. We are selling everything, getting a small condo for home base in Florida and go live on our sailboat and enjoy early retirement. We can't wait!!!
