Frugal couponing

Frugal couponing saves you money for sure...but do not forget that using coupons can also be a great way to help those less fortunate.

Sometimes you will come across items on which the savings are wonderful, but you do not need the product

For instance you do not care for spicy food, and you come across a coupon offer that is practically giving away salsa.

In almost every church, or community there is a food bank for the less fortunate... Buy the salsa, with the coupons and bless someone else by giving it away.

It's a win-win situation, you feel good about saving money by using coupons, and you also helped someone else... There is no greater feeling.

Without fail we put something in our churches food bank box every Sunday... Sometimes it's Cheerios, lima beans, macaroni and cheese...

We do not eat any of these food items, but with the right coupon they are sometimes free or close enough to free... Someone likes Cheerios, lima beans, and macaroni and cheese...help them out, and help you out at the same time.

"Extreme Couponing"

This TLC reality show recently had a contestant purchase over $1000 worth of food for $50... It included 218 boxes of pasta.

I doubt very seriously if anyone family can consume 218 boxes of pasta... At least not real quickly.

But wouldn't it be wonderful to bless 218 families by donating all of the pasta this contestant bought for practically nothing.

I have no affiliation with the show, but if you happen to be a fan... And I hope all readers of this site are interested in saving money.

Take a look at how you can apply extreme couponing to saving money not only for yourself but for others.
