From Dubai to Denver

We had lived outside the US for nearly 10 years and could move anywhere we wanted to in the world. We considered many beautiful places in the world -- Mallorca, the S of France, Bali.

In the end we decided on Colorado to be closer to family and because its one of the most beautiful states in the US.

And the people are quite nice, not too fat, and generally pretty politically moderate. The level of political discourse in the US has descended to a very scary low level.

Denver is a great city and the skiing is amazing. And a safe and normal place to raise a family.
