Looking for a beautiful location to retire to with friendly people, low costs, and the best of city and country? Look no further than the gorgeous state of Arkansas!

The Razorback state offers hills and mountains that are breathtaking when the fall leaves change color, or summer time sailing on huge Beaver Lake. You can shop in historic Eureka Springs in quaint shops or browse big name designer stores in Rogers.

Drive to the capitol and spend the day in the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library and review the history of the Clinton administration, including a replica of the Oval Office.

Arkansas is the proud home of President Clinton where he served as their Governor. If you are really a political junkie, you can tour his home in Hope, Arkansas.

Not only is there great scenery and politics in Arkansas, there is also great food. Arkansans know how to smoke their hams, briskets, and BBQ! Come here for some real old time country cooking, including okra and cornbread.

October is the time for large regional arts and crafts shows that attract artisans from around the country to this state; the event is popular for locals as well as visitors from across the U.S.

If you are concerned about health care, Arkansas has a superb system of care for the over-50 crowd. Arkansas has mild winters, hot summers and all four seasons to enjoy.

Lastly, in case you are sports fan, Arkansans are fanatics about their Razorback football team and even church services will stop to report a touchdown on Saturday afternoon!

Arkansas, a great place to retire!
